Fractional CPO (AI-first)
I lead product at quarter-time or half-time. In the first 30 days I install a continuous workflow that connects feedback, analytics and rapid prototypes to roadmap decisions. AI speeds up the analysis; every decision has an owner.
Who it’s for: For product companies with a development team that need senior product ownership, but not a full-time CPO.
Not for companies that want a list of ideas without access to users and data, or organizations where the roadmap has to carry every stakeholder request.
You have a roadmap. You still do not have a decision system.
Ideas arrive faster than the team can test them. Feedback sits in tickets and calls, analytics gets opened before the board meeting, and discovery ends in a document without a decision. You need one person to own product direction and build a cadence that turns data into decisions.
What you get
- Product strategy, roadmap and priorities tied to company goals
- A steady discovery → delivery → measurement cadence with a clear owner for every decision
- A product metrics model covering activation, retention, revenue and service cost
- Pricing and packaging decisions grounded in customer behaviour and product economics
- An AI workflow: feedback and calls → synthesis → hypotheses → decision
- Rapid prototypes before expensive development, with a verdict for every experiment
- Evaluation of AI features on real cases before they enter the roadmap
How it runs
When this role works
A fractional CPO needs:
What exists after the first 90 days
After one quarter, the company has a working product decision system:
Pricing
€7,500–12,000 net / month
- 3-month minimum; month-to-month afterwards
- shared fractional capacity: two quarter-time engagements or one half-time engagement
- current availability: both seats open (as of July 2026)
- need sparring rather than decision ownership? — Advisory is the lighter option
- the first 30 days include the AI-first workflow implementation — no separate sprint fee
- no equity in the standard engagement
What’s next
After 90 days we make a simple call: continue month-to-month, reduce the scope to advisory, or hand the working system over to the team.
